A Lunch & Learn was held at the School Board meeting room on Tuesday, April 24. There was a great crowd of businesses and individuals from the community in attendance. Crawford Powell with Impact Development Group gave a great presentation/update on Economic Development in the County. The next Lunch & Learn will be held on Tuesday, May 22.
Chamber Office closed for Memorial Day
The Chamber of Commerce office will be closed on Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. We will return to normal business hours on Tuesday, May 29.
Next Lunch & Learn
The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, May 22 at noon at the School District Title One Meeting Room (located at 312 South Blvd E in Macclenny). The speaker will be Dr. Jerry Perrish who is the Chief Economist and Director of Research with the Florida Chamber Foundation, in that role, he is responsible for conducting in-depth analyses on the Florida economy and on solutions to help secure Florida’s future. 2018 Independence Day Celebration
The 2018 Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Memorial Park/Duck Pond Park (160 West Boulevard in Macclenny). The celebration will begin at 5pm with vendor booths and entertainment as well as a game truck. The fireworks will begin around 9pm and then immediately after the fireworks there will be a movie in the park.
