SBDC Mobile Office at the Chamber
Mark Yarick with the Small Business Development Center of the University of North Florida will have a mobile office set up at the Chamber every other Thursday. The SBDC provides business owners with confidential consulting and training in all aspects of business management and growth. They serve all stages of business from established & growing businesses to emerging and aspiring businesses. There is no cost for business consulting or information. Finally Friday Networking Event
The next Finally Friday event is scheduled for September 13th at the Chamber of Commerce office. Grow your network and expand your marketing team by participating in the Chamber of Commerce, fast paced networking breakfast called Finally Friday. This networking event will be held in the Chamber Boardroom. Every person present will be allotted time to tell everyone else about their business. Cost is $3.00 cash at the door for the event. 39th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet
The 39th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at Raiford Road Church located at 9201 State Road 121 South in Macclenny with Guest Speaker David Essel, number one best-selling Author, Counselor, Master Life Coach, International Speaker and Minister. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the dinner and program starting at 7pm. Cost is $225 for a Corporate Table of 8 or $25 for an Individual ticket. Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting
 
The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting for Rack Up Thrift Store's New Location on Monday, August 19th. There was a great crowd in attendance and the Chamber was glad to be a part of it. If you haven't been by to check out the new location, stop by and check it out and bring some donations while there. They are now located at 6122 West Macclenny Avenue in Macclenny.
Open House & Ribbon Cutting
 
T he Chamber of Commerce also had the pleasure of attending the Open House and Ribbon Cutting of the local office for State Representative Chuck Brannan on Thursday, August 22nd. There was a great crowd in attendance and the Chamber was glad to be a part of it. Representative Brannan's local office is located at the Baker County Courthouse (339 East Macclenny Avenue in Macclenny) and they are there Tuesday and Thursday from 9am-5pm.
