If you haven't signed up for the golf tournament, it's time to do that!  The event is Friday, April 27 at Quail Heights Golf Club in Lake City.  Good food, great prizes, raffles!  Entry fee for players is $50. GIVING BACK! Burkins Chevrolet has joined with the Baker County Education Foundation to offer more scholarships to graduating seniors of Baker County High School. A portion of each new and used vehicles sold will be deposited in an account at CFCU and used to give several BCHS seniors a college scholarship.

RECOGNITION! A Baker County Health Department project  has been recognized by the National Association of County and City Health Officials as a "Promising Practice".  The Healthy Choice Restaurant Program was implemented to provide and promote healthy nutrition food choices for Baker County residents. Also, WIC has been named a 2012 Davis Productivity award winner for their efforts in making breastfeeding a public health priority.

We are a month away from the second annual Glitz Glam & Goodies and we are excited about this year's event.  There will be some great entertainment- the Kinderchorus from the Pre-K/Kindergarten Center, a fashion show, etc.  We have alot of new vendors this year and they are excited to join us.  Just to mention a few of our vendors this year:
