January 2015 Spotlight Business of the Month
Ed Fenn's Benson Feed Store kicked off the 2015 Spotlight Business of the Month. We are very pleased to have Ed as our Spotlight Business. Ed and his family have operated Benson Feed since 1961. and has been a member of the Chamber for many, many years. Anyone who goes to the feed store is very familiar with the resident cats. (The cats work the night shift guarding against furry intruders.) Ed is well known in this area, and is very well liked. He is a rock hound, and has many of his treasures displayed in the store. He will talk "rock" just as quick as he will talk "feed". For any of your feed store related needs, Benson Feed is sure to have it. Friendly service and great customer care are two of the things everyone experiences when at the store. We are very happy to recognize such a wonderful, well liked, resident and a great long standing Benson business
Grand Re-Opening
Derrick Roger's "The Shop" has been open for the past couple of years. His business has grown steadily since he opened the doors, and he has had to expand into a larger, nicer, easier to find location! We are hosting his Grand Re-Opening Saturday February 7, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. The new shop location is 684 E 4th Street. Come on out and see the new shop, get some hot dogs, and meet Derrick and Caleb.
Directions: Under the 4th street bridge is "Automotive Alley" or Lower Benson, (depending on who you talk to). As you come out from under the bridge, heading East,look to your right, and you will see the big brown/beige shop. If you get to the 86 Cafe, you have gone too far.
