Easter Mixer A Success

The Chamber Easter Mixer was a huge success.  It was such a pleasure to host an event where the City and Chamber showed a renewed allegiance.  Mayor King and Vice Mayor Konrad shared beautiful messages before the event solidifying our unity and congratulating the Chamber on the hard work and successes that have come forth in the past year.  It can only get better from here.  Stay tuned...pictures are coming.

Our Big Prize Winner

Bobby Balsiger of Eagle Plumbing walked away with the coveted 32" television.

Informative April Breakfast

Micah Mortensen, Benson School Superintendent, was our guest speaker at the Third Tuesday Breakfast on April 16th.  He filled us in on what has happened since the passing of the school bond and what we had to look forward to in the future.  He was certainly well received, and took his time to address all questions and concerns from the group.

The Third Tuesday Breakfast is definitely the place to be, not only to network but to find out what is really going on in the community.  We hope to see you at the next event, 21 May 2019, the Arena (Meeting Room), 7 AM - 8 AM.  Leadership Training, Yanick Hicks, coming to address us from Phoenix AZ.  Let's show up and give him a grand Benson welcome.

The Circus Was A Grand Affair

Najayyah Many Horses

The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus was a huge success.  It is hard to explain the excitement that built as the line to enter stretched across the entire parking area at the Arena.   Even the performers at the Circus were impressed.  They said, "We never get crowds like this on a Saturday."  It
certainly made us Benson proud!

We would like to thank the many businesses that purchased tickets to be donated to school children and seniors that may not have been able to take advantage of this wonderful event otherwise. To the businesses that helped us sell tickets, we could not have had such a great impact within the community without you.

This was a family friendly event that was also a little easy on the pockets.  Nothing was outrageously priced and the kids had a blast on the pony rides and a myriad of different bounce houses.

The scary old clown turned out not to be scary at all.  The kids (of all ages) roared with laughter.  This was more than just a circus, it was a well honed act worthy of Vegas standards.

We hope to do this again in a couple of years.  If you missed it this time, we certainly hope you will come out to support both the community and the Chamber the next time around.

Thank you to everyone who lent a helping hand, including the Chamber Ambassadors who stuck with us from early in the morning as the tent was being raised, until the end of the second show.  Thank you.

Don't Miss Benson's Country Music Festival

Well, you can't say there is nothing to do in Benson.  We've had Kid-O-Rama, the Circus, and now a Country Music Festival,  Let's get up, get out,  and enjoy beautiful Benson.  Let your hair down, cut a step and laugh for awhile. You will be able to purchase food and drink at the venue so no outside coolers please.
