Free Family Movie Night
-
- Leffler Funeral Home of Benton will once again be sponsoring our free movie night series for area families. First of the season will feature the Disney movie Christopher Robin on Thursday, 12/27/18 @ 6pm
-
- In this heartwarming tale, Christopher Robin, the boy who had countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood, has grown up and lost his way. Now it’s up to his spirited and loveable stuffed animals, Winnie The Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and the rest of the gang, to rekindle their friendship and remind him of endless days of childlike wonder and make-believe, when doing nothing was the very best something.
As always, families are invited to bring a blanket and camp out on the floor together. A limited number of tables and chairs will be set up for those wanting to avoid the carpet. Full concessions will be available for the show featuring Casey's Pizza!

Benton KOA Wins National Awards
Campgrounds of America, the world’s largest family of family-friendly, open-to-the-public campgrounds, has announced that the Benton KOA Journey Campground has earned the 2019 KOA President’s Award and KOA Founder’s Award. These awards were presented Wednesday, Nov. 14 at KOA’s Annual International Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. KOA surveys hundreds of thousands of campers each year regarding their KOA camping experience. The KOA Founder’s Award, named in honor of Dave Drum, who founded KOA in 1962, is KOA’s highest service award. It is awarded exclusively to those KOA campground owners and managers who attain world-class scores in both customer service and the KOA Quality Review. “Our KOA owners have a well-deserved reputation for creating quality camping experiences for their guests,” said KOA President Toby O’Rourke. “Their hard work and continued investment in their camping guests are evident in the feedback shared with us by campers who come not only from North America, but from around the world. It is a privilege to be able to recognize these owners for all that they do.” KOA will be celebrating its 57th anniversary in 2019. To find out more, go to KOA.com.
