December Board Meeting will be the last Board Meeting of the year. We will announce the newly elected board members. We will also take nominations for the Executibe Board and vote in the new Executive Board. December is always a busy and magical time of year. I always try to make some very special treats for the December Board Meeting. I promise you want to mark your calendar and make it a point to attend.

Annual Dinner Committee Meeting

THE NEXT ANNUAL DINNER COMMITTEE MEETING WILL BE HELD TUESDAY DECEMBER 13, 2022. PLEASE MEET AT THE BUZZ ON THE SQUARE AT 11:30AM FOR LUNCH. AT THIS MEETING WE WILL FINALIZE THE CATERER, MENUE AND ENTERTAINMENT FOR THE DINNER.

RIBBON CUTTING

SATURDAY DECEMBER 10TH

Please join us in Thompsonville on Saturday December 10, 2022 at 10:00am. The Mayor and the village board have ask us to do a ribbon cutting for the Stagecoach Botique now that they have moved into the new , larger, building on Main Street. They will also be celebrating a new Childrens Botique that will be opening in the building that the Stagecoach Botique has moved out of. This is the same day that Thompsonville celebrates Santa Clause coming to town and will have several festivities on Main Street. Please bring your family and join us as we celebrate economic growth in Franklin County.

New Resident Welcome Bags

In partnership with the City of Benton and the Village of West City, we are Continuing to present welcome bags to folks moving to the Benton/West City Area from outside the county. You are welcome to put items in the bags. We do 10 bags at a time, for each Water Department to hand out when someone signs up for new service. Pleasedrop off your items accordingly. We are proud of our community and excited to promote our local businesses!!

We would love to make people feel welcome , so if you would like to provide a coupon good for a limited time, or a menu for your restaurant we are happy to include it.

Membership Renewals

Membership Renewal will be invoiced in January. Please take a couple of minutes to update your membeship information in Chamber Nation. If you have experienced a change in management, people who have retired, or new hires that would like to be active members of the Chamber of Commerce please contact me to find out how to update your membership information. This is also a time to reflect on your sponsorships for the past year. Take a look at our membership levels and see if upgrading your membeship with built in sponsor opportunities might be more cost effective. I will also be sending out the Dates for all of our events for 2023 and sposor opportunitys for you. Please look these over and see if they are opportunites that you can add to your yearly budget. 2023 is going to be a year of growth for our community as well as our chamber, we are excited to have you be a part of it.
