Another amazing show of support by the Coldwater Community during the 2015 Caribbean-themed Icefest which was only possible thanks to
Michigan Gas Utilities generous donation!
Thanks to sponsor
Cole-Ford-Lincoln, Master Carver Scott Miller was able to sculpt a CAR in the Four Corner's Park Downtown from eight large blocks of ice. As he chiseled, sawed and torched the ice, there was a steady stream of visitors watching the live carving and taking advantage of the photo op inside the car.
The Chamber would like to thank the Coldwater Country Tourism & Visitor's Bureau for their support along with the
10 businesses who sponsored blocks of ice allowing us to line Downtown Coldwater with beach-themed carvings and hundreds of visitors.
Highlights of the day also included "yarn-bombed" trees by area knitters, a puppet show at the Library, kids crafts at the Children's Museum, blanket & pillow donations at Culy's, great deals and giveaways throughout the downtown!
Our snowball shooting contest was a BLAST! Manny Ortiz was the proud winner of a basketball hoop donated by Wal-Mart and each child received a free round of laser tag at Adventure Zone!
