The Coldwater Country Conference and Visitors Bureau was founded in 1984. It is a non-profit destination marketing organization, funded by guests that stay in our local hotels. The marketing money generated through our hotels is the funding for thousands of dollars spent annually to promote events, businesses and attractions in the Branch County area. The lakes bring in many visitors year-round, but festivals, the Capri Drive-In, Tibbits Opera House and the Little River Railroad are also huge draws to the area.
New festivals are popping up in the area on Memorial Weekend is a newly revamped “A River Through Time” (aka Civil War Re-enactment) at Heritage Park in Coldwater. They will have representatives re-enacting wars through the years. The Saturday of Father’s Day is the new Magic City Egg Fest, a Big Green Egg grilling competition with tasting tickets for non-competitors. On Father’s Day, Father’s ride for free with their families.
Tibbits summer Theatre will be starting soon and they have increased their Entertainment Series too. The Capri Drive-In and Little River Railroad has already started the 2019 season, with the Drive-In going 7-nights a week Memorial Weekend.
