Interested in learning about photography, or know someone who is? January 10th, at the Coldwater Chamber, Brian will be hosting a class to give you all the tools to help make your pictures beautiful.

The class will be a 3:1 session. The goal for Brian is to see where individuals are starting, who all is interested, etc. He will be going over lighting, use of lighting, and composition.

For anyone who loves to shop local and received some Christmas money, stop by B2 Outlets to shop for some things. Anyone who rounds up their final purchase price at B2 Outlet during the month of January, will be making a donation to Tommy's House.
It's a win win. Shopping/donating to a great organization in town.

What is Tommy's House? Tommy's House is a Christ centered transitional living facility for women recovering from substance use disorder.

Let's get those donations in! Christmas may be over, but the season of giving is not.

Love being creative, while having fun? Taking place January 22nd, Kiwanis Club is hosting Cardboard Sled Races located at the Kiwanis hill! Build a one-of-a-kind cardboard sled and race down Kiwanis hill for a chance to prove you are faster than the rest! There is NO FEE to participate in this event.

Who says you can't have fun in the winter? Coldwater Rec Department is hosting their 3rd annual winter fest January 22nd! 

There will be live wood carvings, snowman building contest in downtown, professional fire juggling, and more! 

It's safe to say that Coldwater is it's own Hallmark town!

Our Town Match Program sponsored by Consumers Energy, took place Friday December 17th from 10am until the cards were completely sold out. The approximate time it took for all the cards to be sold was 2 hours at the Coldwater Area Chamber. 

 Our Town Match Program is where residents in the community could bring in $25 in exchange for $50 to help the local shops or anywhere within Branch County, just in time for Christmas. 

A bundle of the visa cards were distributed over to Quincy to be sold at Refuge Coffee House. 

Our Town Match Program provided a boost to our local economy, to help our local shops or any resident who may have needed additional funds.

Caitlin Sheets, began working at the Coldwater Chamber in May to gain experience in her field of study at Olivet College. With her skills and talent, Lori Hunt, Executive Director of the Coldwater Chamber, has decided to take her on full time after she graduates in May of 2022. Caitlin has conducted herself in a professional manner, cares for the community and the Chamber's members. She is genuine, down to earth, and a hard worker. Her passion is unmatched here at the Chamber. We are so grateful to have her on board and to begin working full time in May. 

2021 has been a rollercoaster..but we are grateful to still have each of you with us as part of the Chamber. We appreciate your support as a whole, our events, and more. We are here to serve you, and help you succeed and reach your goals. 

2022 is going to be a magical year, full of new beginnings in Coldwater. We are appreciative of our members, board, ambassadors, staff, and volunteers who help us with our events. We are excited to see what 2022 will bring for all of us.
