About Girls Scouts of Colorado River
Girls Scouts of Colorado River
The Girls Scouts of Colorado River, based in Bullhead City, Arizona, is a dynamic organization dedicated to empowering young girls and women through leadership development, outdoor activities, and community service. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place.
At the heart of our organization are the Girl Scout troops, where girls from kindergarten through high school come together to learn new skills, explore their interests, and form lifelong friendships. Through a variety of programs and activities, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and sisterhood among our members while also providing them with valuable life experiences.
One of the key components of our organization is our commitment to outdoor education. We believe that spending time in nature not only promotes physical health but also encourages personal growth and self-discovery. From camping trips to hiking excursions to environmental conservation projects, we offer numerous opportunities for girls to connect with the natural world and develop a deep appreciation for the environment.
In addition to outdoor adventures, we also prioritize community service as an essential part of our programming. Through various service projects and volunteer opportunities, our members learn the importance of giving back to their communities and making a positive impact on the world around them.
As an affiliate of Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council (GSACPC), we are proud to be part of a larger network that shares our commitment to empowering girls. Together with GSACPC, we strive to provide resources and support for girls and adult volunteers alike as they navigate their Girl Scout journey.
