Care Connections, the Carrollton Senior Center, has been a cornerstone for senior services in Carrollton, MO, and surrounding areas since its establishment in October 1973. As an area agency on aging, we proudly serve seniors across 13 counties, including Bates, Benton, Carroll, Cedar, Chariton, Henry, Hickory, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis, Saline, St. Clair, and Vernon. Our mission is supported by a blend of federal and state funds, county taxes, program fees, and generous donations, allowing us to provide a broad range of essential services to enhance the quality of life for older adults.
Our organization is part of a network of ten area agencies on aging in Missouri, formed as a result of the 1973 amendments to the federal Older Americans Act. This legislative foundation mandates us to deliver comprehensive services tailored to the needs of our aging population. Our offerings include nutrition programs, in-home support, health education, and social engagement activities, all designed to promote independence, health, and well-being among seniors.
