Welcome to Home Again Consignment Shop! Owned and operated by Steve and Julie Runyon, Home Again has been the premiere stop for gently used furniture and home décor in Coles County since 2012. Steve is a retired educational administrator and Julie has been a teacher, consultant, and disability specialist. Together with manager Faith Haugh and our part-time staff, our goal is to provide quality used furniture and décor at an affordable price.
Home Again Consignment Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm and is located at 830 18th Street in Charleston, IL. You’ll find a large selection of items such as chairs, sofas, tables, lamps, rugs, bookcases, dinettes, framed art, pottery, as well as some small collectibles. Pricing is fair and affordable for everyone, including college students. Markdowns and sales are common, and our inventory changes daily!
Potential consignors who have items to sell should contact Home Again by email or Facebook and attach pictures of the items. You can also make an appointment and bring the items to the shop. Consignors agree to a 60 day consignment period for each item.
We at Home Again believe that small, local shops are the heart of Charleston and Coles County. In fact, we provide customers with a map of the area resale shops and encourage shoppers to visit the other stores around town. Several times a year, Home Again participates in local events such the 18th Street Block Party, the 18th Street Fall Festival, and Progressive Pickin' Parties. Home Again also offers a number of DIY classes for community members.
