POSITION SUMMARY:
In accordance with the City of Albuquerque Convention and Tourism contract, this person is responsible for promoting the City of Albuquerque as a tourism destination and for closing sales of international, national, regional and local conventions for the Hispanic and Native American markets to the Albuquerque Convention Center and hotels within the City of Albuquerque. The Director shall administer contracts, create the annual marketing plan, direct advertising campaigns, prepare the annual budget, manage employees, coach and mentor staff to maintain professionalism and accountability. Fluent in Spanish; speaking, writing and reading.
