General Description of Duties: Performs sorting of loose and collected paper from various customers and contracts into multiple paper grades; operates sort conveyor machines. Performs facility maintenance duties. Assists with training other personnel as required. Participates in the ISP process, team meetings, and time-study process; and prepares associated written documentation. Will perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. One (1) year general work experience preferred. Must complete specific training certifications (from our training department) and maintain those certifications throughout employment. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate in English, with internal and external customers of Adelante. Have the ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, supervisors and co-workers.

Other Requirements: Must pass background/fingerprint investigation and pre-employment drug screening. Must possess a valid agency insurable NM driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance. Must have own reliable transportation and agency insurable driving record. Must be able to lift 35 lbs repeatedly. Physical requirements may vary depending on job assignment.
