Purpose:
The advisors will facilitate growth and productivity within the Mark Pardo SalonSpa locations. In addition, they will ensure that every guest received the best experience possible.

Responsibilities:

Greet all guests upon arrival to the location and determine their needs.
Offer each guest a beverage and a ritual if they are waiting for a service provider.
Offer guests a tour of the salon so they are aware of all services provided.
Provide education regarding the Aveda products.
Participate in store events and events in the community.
Maintain benchmarks and monthly sales goals.
Provide support to all service providers by checking guests in and out, assisting with preparation for extensive services, prepare rooms in between
guests for estheticians, maintaining any schedule changes and communicating those to the service providers and/or guests if needed,
sweeping or cleaning stations if necessary.
Be knowledgeable of the Aveda Service Wheel and follow through to the end with each and every guest.
Attend all meetings in order to be aware of new products, services and strategies for growth.
Ensure that the salons are clean and that clean towels are available for guests and service providers.
Consistently communicate with Team Leaders and the Advisor team to ensure everyone is aware of what is happening in the salon.

Qualifications:

Passion regarding nurturing others in alignment with the Mark Pardo SalonSpa mission and the Aveda mission.
Previous retail experience, specifically in the beauty industry is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.
Must be able to work retail hours including weekends, holidays and special events.
Demonstrated experience with computers.

The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is exposed to a noise level that is usually minimal to moderate.
