Well established manufacturing company seeks Electrician - Machinery Maintenance Technician to assist in setting up and maintaining its production facility and equipment. Individual will assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical problems in all production machinery. Medium size family business, not a huge impersonal corporation.

Company's primary machinery are radio frequency heat sealing machines used to produce various industrial products made from plastic film. Desirable skills include:

- mechanical, electronic and electrical aptitude,

- experience as a carpenter, machinist, welder, pipefitter and/or draftsmen,

- ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics, building frame assemblies using galvanized pipe and fittings.

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of construction, electrical work, systems, and troubleshooting
Possess strong expertise in all aspects of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installation, safety procedures, safe work practices, trade related calculations, blueprint and drawing interpretation, and trouble shooting.
Effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
2+ years of Electrical Construction experience
Able to lifting 50 pounds, unassisted, frequently throughout the day
Able to safely operate two-handed tools/equipment such as cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and jack hammers
Will work as part of a machinery maintenance team. Will assist in building/modifying industrial equipment as part of facility renovation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
