We will teach candidates the techniques involved in cleaning, inspecting, and shipping optical substrates. Customers, Stock, QC, or Coating Kitting. Typical day to day operations include demonstrating best practice techniques for optical contacting, decontacting, deblocking, and cleaning of optics. Candidates will use computers to complete required daily departmental functions. Learn how to perform optical testing using a variety of metrology tools such as, interferometers, spectrophotometers, optical comparators, auto collimators, and other hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers etc. This position offers a career opportunity utilizing a wide variety of metrology techniques and optical materials. Base requirements are the ability to perform basic math skills, ability to learn and retain information, follow verbal and written instructions. Good eye / hand coordination. Eyesight must be of sufficient quality to be able to identify small defects on glass and other optical materials. Ability to work in a team environment. Reliability, ability to focus and attention to detail are key elements for this position.

This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident or ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements.
