Job Description & Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Food Service Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager plans, organizes and executes sales activities in growing and expansion markets.

He or she is responsible for conducting market and competitive research and targeting new opportunities while retaining existing customers.

She or he has managed a sales territory of at least $2,000,000.00 in annual sales.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans, directs and executes sales and marketing goals and objectives.
Develops new markets as required and ensures that they become profitable sales territories.
Develops and implements sales plans.
Responsible for attaining sales goals in current and growth markets.
Develops and maintains relationships with end users, distributors and brokers.
Enforces and negotiates contracts.
Develop, execute and present promotional programs.
Analyze sales activity by area, take required actions.
Coordinates pricing issues with management staff.
Develop and make sales/marketing presentations to food service or retail headquarter and corporate accounts including executive management.
Conducts business reviews.
Attends and participates in trade shows.
Prepares reports.
Trains sales staff as required.
Accountable for budget expenditures and analysis.
EDUCATION:

College degree in Business Administration, Marketing or General Management preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:

Three years sales and food sales preferred.
Three years executive corporate call experience preferred.
Minimum 3 years of budget responsibility.
Experience and expertise with food industry preferred.
Proven record in attaining sales increases.
Valid/current driver’s license and a good driving record with no DWIs.
Ability to organize and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously.
Ability to review and prepare detailed reports.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to communicate information in Spanish preferred.
Job Status: Full-time

Compensation: $50,000.00 per year

Benefits: PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Paid Holidays

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Travel: Yes, approximately 35% to El Paso, TX, and Durango, CO.
