ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides major mechanical service on all plant machinery.
Responsible for training mechanics in all departments on new and current pieces of equipment.
Completes training assignments and all documentation needed for tracking purposes.
Repairs machines and mechanical equipment. Tracks expenses and man-hours.
Trouble shoots electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
Performs electrical duties including the replacement of panel components and troubleshoots electrical and electronic devices.
Orders replacement parts and reassembles machines and equipment.
Performs arc and oxyacetylene welding on a wide variety of equipment and fixtures.
Responsible for fire prevention duties according to established policies and procedures.
Provides production support.
Works closely with all management and supervisors.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years experience as equipment mechanic. Food manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to operate computer and keyboard in order to input & retrieve data and to prepare reports.
Job Status: Full time

Compensation: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Wednesday – Saturday, 4:00am – 4:00pm
