Links Global seeks to hire a Community Outreach Specialist in New Mexico for a U.S. government-funded program to support the government’s efforts to prevent drug misuse and the illegal use of drugs through community outreach, with the goal of raising public awareness. Focus populations will be primarily Native American communities throughout New Mexico and bordering regions.

The COS will need to be highly knowledgeable in the area of prescription drugs, diversion, trafficking, drug misuse prevention; skilled in written and verbal communication and using MS Office software (Word, Excel, PPT) and WEBEX; strategic communications models such as health promotion, social marketing, and behavior change communication; and able to work in collaboration with multiple levels of government, various agencies, offices, and departments, community based organizations, and private sector groups
