About Mapletown Manor
The Mapletown Manor is a beautiful Italianate style historic home that is available to the public for daytime venue rentals, scheduled tours, and various events. The brick and stone manor was built shortly after the Civil War by one of the region's first medical families and has many original features. The main architectural feature that draws visitors is the 4-story square tower that contains a gorgeous carved cherry wood spiral staircase. Events at the Manor include Candlelight Mystery Tours in October, Victorian Christmas in December, seasonal Ladies Night at the Manor, self-guided open tour dates, and much more. There is also a unique and fun gift store in the lower level called the Cellar Shop that is open during tours and events. The Cellar Shop Has a variety of scented candles, room and linen sprays, natural soap, Victorian gifts, and manor souvenirs. The Manor can be rented in 2 hour blocks for daytime events of up to 65 people. Some recent rentals have included family reunions, murder mystery parties, wine tastings, business meetings, and photography sessions. The Mapletown Manor is steeped in local history and mystery, and is a wonderful place to make unique memories!
