There will be no trash pick up on Monday, Nov 11 due to the landfill being closed to honor Veterans Day. Monday customers will be picked up on Friday, Nov 8.There will be no trash pick up on Thanksgiving Day, Thurs, Nov 28. Pick up will be on Wednesday, Nov 27.

Contact Malcom Enterprises, Inc./Sharps Trucking for all your residential or commerical garbage and recycling needs. We rent dumpsters in various sizes for your cleanout or construction projects or just for the convenience of keeping it at your business or residence. We currently serve Decorah, Calmar, Ossian, Castalia, Postville, Burr Oak and surrounding areas with our service area growing every day. We also offer rural garbage pick up for your convenience.

Winneshiek County Landfill does NOT accept the following please do not place in residential trash or dumpsters:

- Corrugated cardboard
- Wet Paint/Liquid Chemicals
- Tires
- Automotive Batteries
Appliances are accepted at an additional charge but need to be arranged in advance for pick up and disposal. Thank You
