Welcome to Ascend Pilates Studio! A contemporary and progressive Pilates Studio adhering to the time-honored and authentic principles established by Joseph Pilates.
Owner/Instructor Angela Wiley is a PMA Certified Pilates Teacher and NASM Certified Personal trainer with 20 years experience in the fitness industry. She is also certified with the Titleist Performance Institute as a golf fitness instructor and a member of CREP and USREPS. She is active in the outdoors in her spare time enjoying rock climbing, hiking, backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and running. And doing Pilates as much as she can! Pilates instructors are first and foremost trained to focus on correcting muscular imbalances, improving alignment for optimum function and improving posture, all of which create a more functional body regardless of any other activities you participate in.
Pilates is an innovative system of mind-body exercise evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates. Pilates exercises develop a strong “core”, or center of the body. The core consists of the deep abdominal muscles along with the muscles closest to the spine. Control of the core is achieved by integrating the trunk, pelvis and shoulder girdle.
Q: What is so great (different) about Pilates?
A: Pilates combines core training, strength, and flexibility into one full-bodied workout. Producing longer, leaner muscles with less bulk and more freedom of movement.

We offer a variety of Pilates classes per week, from early morning through the evening. We can help you with your fitness goals! Whether that goal is to get strong abdominals, stand taller, rehab from an injury, increase sports performance, you will walk out of class feeling like you’ve achieved something you didn't think was possible!
Our comprehensive Pilates program offers a state-of-the-art Pilates studio, private and semi-private sessions with a PMA certified Pilates instructor, group reformer and mixed Pilates equipment sessions, and targeted Pilates mat classes.
This is the area’s first and foremost fully equipped Pilates Studio featuring Balanced Body(copyright) equipment including 4 Studio Reformers, 5 Pilates Chairs, a Trapeze Table, Spring Boards, Ladder Barrel, Arcs, Mat classes with props, Pilates Barre and more!
Whatever your goals, we will have a class to help you achieve them! We provide a fun, nurturing, and comfortable environment where students of all fitness levels, with rehabilitative and sports- specific needs can enjoy the many benefits of Pilates training.
