Our truffles are filled with rich dark and milk chocolates and the best cream, butters, and natural flavorings available. We use all-natural, organic and fair-trade ingredients in our confections; we do NOT use any artificial flavorings, colorings, or additives. We do NOT support slave-trade chocolate! No preservatives. We use all-natural and organic ingredients. Most products are gluten free.
CHOCOLATE STORAGE EAT IMMEDIATELY! If you do not plan to eat your Buckaroo Chocolates immediately after purchase here are a few tips to keep it most delicious: Do NOT store your chocolate in the refrigerator; if the temperature is too low and humidity is too high chocolate stored in the refrigerator will "sweat". Truffles are happiest between 60-70 degrees F. Find a cool, dry place in your home, such as a cupboard or pantry, to keep chocolate. If it is just too hot and you must rely on your refrigerator to avoid a total meltdown of your chocolate, be sure to let it sit at room temperature for a spell before eating to get that fabulous melt-in-your mouth sensation chocolate offers.
Blooming Chocolate! Chocolate truffles, due to their cream content, should not be left uneaten for more than a couple of weeks. Buckaroo Chocolates contain no preservatives, and therefore attention should be paid to the shelf life to enjoy the freshness of our chocolate products. Chocolate that is allowed to get warm will begin to melt, allowing the cocoa butter to rise to the surface and creating "bloom". Chocolate bloom will be noted as white streaks or dots on the surface of the chocolate. Chocolate bloom does not affect the taste of the chocolate, but will alter the texture somewhat if not re-tempered.
