Welcome to The Kingman Mohave Lions Club, an established pillar of community service since 1963. With over 60 years of unwavering commitment to local, state, and international Lions projects, our club stands as a beacon of philanthropy in Kingman, Arizona. At the forefront of our endeavors is the Free or Discounted Eyeglasses Assistance Program, offering crucial vision support to children and adults in the Kingman area facing financial constraints. Beyond eyeglasses, our diverse initiatives include college scholarships, health and vision screening clinics, and the sponsorship of a Leos Club, providing local youth with opportunities for community service and skill development.
Engaging on regional, national, and international fronts, we actively contribute to the Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation, addressing global vision challenges. We process approximately 3,000 eyeglasses annually, alongside the Lions Vision Center's impressive handling of over 250,000 pairs. As we gather every Thursday at Calico’s on Beale Street, we extend a warm invitation to new and visiting members, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
