As an integral part of a nationwide educational alliance, we serve as problem solvers, linking the citizens of Arizona to the wealth of knowledge and research emanating from the University.
With offices spanning all 15 counties and outreach to 22 Federally Recognized Tribes, our commitment is grounded in collaboration. We work hand-in-hand with communities to bridge the gap between the University of Arizona's research prowess and the unique challenges faced by Arizonans. Our vision is to be a vital national leader, applying knowledge to foster thriving, sustainable lives, communities, and economies.
At the heart of our mission is engagement through applied research and education, targeting key aspects such as lives, families, communities, the environment, and economies. We actively involve the communities we serve in crafting programs that address locally identified needs. Our diverse program areas encompass 4-H Youth Development, which shapes the next generation of leaders; Agriculture and Natural Resources, supporting responsible resource management for over a century; Family, Consumer, & Health Sciences, nurturing strong families and minds; and Tribal Extension, with initiatives focused on engaging Native American communities in education, outreach, development, sustainability, and resiliency.
