Firearms Training Mission Statement
Sanctuary Firearms Training and Pastoral Counseling, LLC (SFTPC, LLC) mission is to equip new firearms owners and those seeking to grow and improve their skills. The goal is to not only have fun shooting but to understand the risks and rewards associated with firearms ownership. Proper training on general firearms terms, on an individuals personal firearms, proper safety, federal, state, and local laws, and when to use a firearm are critical. SFTPC, LLC wants every student to walk away from a more knowledgeable, competent, confident, safe, armed American ready to defend themselves and their loved ones. Scott has over 20 years of training and experience in the U.S. Army. He completed training at The Warrior School in Tucson Arizona and The Crucible in Virginia. He has earned certification through The United States Carry Conceal Association (USCCA) and seeks continuing education through them.
Pastoral Counseling Mission Statement
Sanctuary Firearms Training and Pastoral Counseling, LLC (SFTPC, LLC) mission is to offer biblically-based mental health care and healthy development for individuals and couples while fulfilling the historic mission of caring for the hearts and minds of persons. SFTPC, LLC seeks to provide the highest quality pastoral counseling services at an affordable cost to all persons. Informed by the wisdom of biblical instruction and the insights of behavioral science in an understanding and therapeutic approach to the healing of persons and their relationships. SFTPC, LLC not only cares for persons for whom their faith commitment is profound in shaping their lives but also for persons who claim no faith orientation. SFTPC, LLC recognizes the power of faith commitments in the shaping of self-understanding, relationships with others, and of one's emotional health. SFTPC, LLC encourages our clients to make use of their faith commitments as a resource for their own healing and growth.
Pastoral Counseling Purpose Statement
Sanctuary Firearms Training and Pastoral Counseling, LLC (SFTPC, LLC) is a short-term counseling service to lead individuals and couples into a state of emotional and mental wellness. Scott Ware has a Bachelor of Science degree (with Honors) in Social Sciences with a focus on Sociology and Psychology from Upper Iowa University and a Masters in Divinity, Pastoral Counseling degree from Liberty University. Scott is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. The first step is to identify the challenge(s) people are struggling against. As challenges are identified we will address them through interpersonal experience, professional experience, and the relevance of the Gospel to develop growth steps for overcoming that challenge and future challenges. The desired outcome is to overcome the present challenge and provide tools and access to resources leading to continued healing and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
