Lead the Ville October 2023 The 2023/2024 Lead the Ville Class took a deep dive into City Government this month. The group toured and met with leaders from the City Street Department, Electric Plant, and Water Plant. They also met with City Councilors, Office Staff and Administrators to learn how the City functions and how Boards and Committees operate! In the afternoon the class heard from Joeseph Winge with the Army National Guard on what leadership means to him. It was another interesting day! What's Happening? We are looking for Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award. Please fill out the nomination form and return it to the Chamber! Nominations are due by 5pm on October 16th. Fright Hike Fright Hike is coming up on Saturday, October 28th in Fort Defiance State Park! This event takes lots of volunteers in many different capacities please contact us if you are interested in helping! Neighborhood Facade Grant The Neighborhood Facade Grant Application is now open! Apply for a matching grant of up to $4000 to update/remodel the exterior of your home. Home can be owner occupied or a rental. Competitive grant with 10 awarded for 2024. Application HERE!
