About Ellenville First Aid & Rescue Squad
The Ellenville First Aid & Rescue Squad, Inc., is a Not-for -Profit, 501(C)(3)) corporation organized inn 1955 to provide Emergency . Medical Services to the residents and visitors of the Ellenville, NY area. We are a New York State Department of Health Certified Advanced Life Support Ambulance Agency. The Basic Life Support (BLS) function is staffed by volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's), drivers and crew members. The Advanced Life Support (ALS) function is staffed by paid, career paramedics.
The Ellenville First Aid & Rescue Squad, Inc., provides Emergency Medical Services, BLS and ALS, to nearly 130 square miles of the Town of Wawarsing, NY served by the Cragsmoor, Ellenville and Napanoch Fire Districts. The Squad also has a Jaws of Life Rescue Team, a Rope Rescue Team and a Dive Team for Water and Ice rescue
