As you all know our chamber is heavily involved in our community and we currently have a few opportunities for you to expand and promote your business at our upcoming community events. A great time was had by all tonight at our 4th Annual Best of Fair Oaks Gala Awards Night!! Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners in each of 47 categories! Records were broken! Hats off to our very own FOYO - FO Youth Outreach for hosting this special evening at North Ridge Country Club in Fair Oaks! A huge THANKS to Ryan Griffith of Averik for the bestoffairoaks.com website! Go there now to see the results! Thanks also to American River Messenger for being a partner in this project. Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes and desserts, too! You're the BEST, Fair Oaks!!

Every year, there are several Chamber-specific awards presented at Best of Fair Oaks Gala Awards night. Citizen of the Year and Special Recognition recipients are chosen by the Board of Directors. Business Person of the Year, Business of the Year, and Volunteer of the Year categories have nominees in each category and the Chamber membership votes for them. For 2019, the award recipients are:
Citizen of the Year: Roselyn Barbray, Optavia
Special Recognition: Dot Boyd, Senior Safety Specialist
Business Person of the Year: Rich Keith, Del's Pizza; nominees were Mike Maddox, Lyon Real Estate and Erik Hokum, UPS Store Gold River.
Business of the Year: House to Home Moving, Jacob Giorgi; nominees were Averik, Ryan Griffith, Bob's Cycle Center, and Fair Oaks Cemetery Dist.
Volunteer of the Year was awarded to two recipients:
Ryan Griffith and Matthew Mason; nominees were John Oldham and Jill Stevens. Congratulations to all!

Looking for candidates to run for the Honorary Mayor campaign 2020!

We are looking for people who are passionate about their community, charity and business. This is definitely a way to promote who you are and get recognized in our community. 

This program was est. back in 1978 and over the past 41 years this program has raised over $480k which has been given back to our community.

Requirements:
Must be a Fair Oaks Chamber member for at least 6 months in good standing
Min. age 18
Must work or live in the Fair Oaks Community
THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL ROLE and can not be used for such reason
Must be willing to have FUN and be wiling to raise money for your charity.

The Fair Oaks Youth Outreach (FOYO) is a group of young and bright adults who live or attend school in the Fair Oaks community. Under the supervision of the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce we strive to provide community service and give back to those in need.  The Fair Oaks Youth Outreach has been involved in The Best Of Fair Oaks, The Chicken Festival, Fair Oaks Fiesta, Concerts and our looking to broaden our horizons. Our upcoming projects include a school drive as well as a local community clean up day in the Village Park.We are always looking for people to come and join us in helping spread positivity and make Fair Oaks a better place. All of our events credit community service hours. Why say no? Get involved with FOYO!
