A Note from your Executive Director

Hello Chamber members,

I want to express my gratitude to those that have supported over the past 4 months to our two Honorary Mayor candidates; Chrysti Tovani - raising money for the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival and FOCC, and Penny Howard - raising money for the Del Campo High School Visual & Performing Arts and FOCC. This is a very crucial time as we were challenged to learn a new way to keep our Honorary Mayor program alive and keep it going for the 42nd year in a row. These candidates have been very creative by doing online events and trying to raise money and awareness not only for their campaigns but for small businesses in our community. We have only 2 more Hot August Thursday night's left. Normally they would sell Hot Dogs and Pizza at the weekly concerts, but of course that didn't happen this year so they thought of ways we can support our BIGGEST supporters these next two weeks.
This week is Del's Pizza - Rich has been one of our BIGGEST givers and supporters of this event for the past 3 years. He has held the kick- off parties in the past and has also donated pizza's every week to the candidates who sold food at the concerts to help give them a chance to make the most profit as possible. It's our turn to help support him and the two candidates above. Please place your orders by tonight for drive - thru pick up at Del's Pizza on Aug 20th 4:30pm - 6:00pm. These are Take & Bake pizza's (Oh and the menu is not limited to one style, he is offering a large menu to us) Only $15 for a pizza and salads. Let me not forget to mention he was voted Best Pizza in Fair Oaks - 3 years in a row.

Next Thursday Aug 27th - Smokey Oaks Tavern will be doing another event for us. Earlier this month we did Take & Bake pot pies and they were delicious. Those who didn't order missed out for sure.... Jeneca is coming up with a new menu item for this evening. Details will come later this week. S.O.T. has been another BIG supporter and giver towards this fundraising event over the years. We can't thank them enough for all their support.

We are in the home stretch of this race, only 13 days left. Each candidate has until Aug 31st at noon to get all their money in. The winner will be announced on Sept 9th. (details to come later). Check out ways you can still help support if you so choose to.

Porch Portraits - $75 for a session (value $150) Chrysti is a photographer and will come out and take beautiful photos of that special occasion or just to have a special memory of this year.
