"DRESS DOWN TO DRY OUT" FUNDRAISER Recent flooding events have put a huge strain on many businesses in Fenton and surrounding communities. The Fenton Chamber is committed to providing assistance to these businesses, many who were also affected by the 2015 flooding. HOW DOES THE FUNDRAISER WORK? During the week of June 5th - 9th, participating businesses will choose one day of the week on which they will allow employees to “dress down”, meaning casual attire, for a small monetary donation ($1, $5, etc.). If employees already dress casually, consider hosting a themed dress day instead: Cardinals day, sports teams, college colors days, Hawaiian shirt day, patriotic colors day, etc. - have fun with it!!! WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE? This fundraiser is an easy way for area businesses to help raise money and provide assistance to our local businesses/fellow Chamber Members impacted by recent flooding events. When a business is affected in this capacity, it is not merely structural with the challenge of rebuilding, but it also has a direct impact on employees and, in turn, the community.
