August Lunch & Connections The Chamber's monthly Lunch & Connections returned to Hacienda Mexican Restaurant on August 17th and featured speaker Dr. John Simpson, the Superintendent of the Webster Groves School District. Dr. Simpson had much to update the 36 attendees on the progress of Prop S improvements, the district's strategic plan, and the numerous reasons why the Webster Groves School District remains a highly rated school in the state of Missouri. School is back in session, and the weather is perfect for golf! Everyone is over-the-top excited about the Annual Golf Scramble on October 3 at the Courses at Forest Park! But—have you ever planned to take part in something…maybe even think about it and daydream about it every day…and then the date sneaks up on you and you suddenly have a scheduling conflict??!! Yep, it’s happened to all of us. What a disappointment!! So, if you know anyone who is interested in the Golf Scramble—golfer or a sponsor—please remind them that *the date is right on top of us. Help them find the Chamber online registration…or print it out and hand it to them. Oh, and if you let our fearless leaders, Karen and Tamera, know that someone needs to register—they can help with the online registration and then send a billing invoice.
