Thank you Bijoux Handmade Chocolates for hosting Coffee & Connections on Friday, September 8! A delicious time was had by all! With breakfast of pastries, coffee and (of course) truffles, Chamber members and staff gathered to end the weekend on a high note by welcoming new members, making new connections, and enjoying learning about the origin of Bijoux Handmade Chocolates.

2023 Chamber Golf Scramble
On October 3, 2023, a record 72 participants enjoyed a day at The Courses at Forest Park for the Webster Groves/Shrewsbury/Rock Hill Area Chamber of Commerce annual Golf Scramble. Starting off with Bloody Marys courtesy of event sponsors Bette J. Welch, CPA and Neighbors of Webster Groves, golfers enjoyed perfect weather for a day of golf, food & drink, fantastic prizes and a delicious post-game reception in the clubhouse.

While I'm glad the summer weather stayed with us *just* long enough for a perfect day of golf on October 3rd, I am thrilled that fall is finally here in Webster Groves, Shrewsbury, Rock Hill and Brentwood! There is no better way to celebrate the changing of the seasons than the Rock Hill Fall Festival, which I attended on October 7th.

Fall is filled with so many fantastic events and opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of our wonderful community; I wish you all the chance to explore what Webster Groves, Shrewsbury, Rock Hill and Brentwood have to offer this month, with appreciation for the peace and camaraderie these communities provide.

September's Lunch & Connections
The Chamber was thrilled to welcome Webster University Mens Golf Coach Brad Davis as the featured speaker at the September Lunch & Connections event. Held every third Thursday of each month at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, Lunch & Connections is the *perfect* way to network with Chamber members and guests, discover what is happening in the local business community, and learn something valuable from each month's featured speaker or panel.
In September, Brad Smith, a coach/ex-professional golfer/entrepreneur, shared his life story, filled with examples of how perseverance saw him through many challenges to worldwide success!
