About Us
Golf is the centerpiece of The Country Club of Winter Haven. The 18 Hole Rees Jones and Bill Bergin designed course is in perfect harmony with the terrain as it winds beneath stately oaks and pines, and subtle elevation changes make it reminiscent of South Carolina. Whatever the time of day, the wonders of nature surround you as you experience golf’s true “walk in the park”. Shimmering lakes, sweeping vistas, and the sounds of wildlife can be heard nearby. The undulating Champion greens are fast and true, and are an excellent test for all levels of play. Warm up on our generously sized putting greens, then give the rest of your clubs a pre-game workout at the driving range before stepping up to the first tee. A beautifully designed 7,021 yard course awaits you, the challenge is set, you against the course. Behold the tranquility of unspoiled setting as bald eagles and Ospreys soar above, and the birdies are there for the taking!

COMPETITION
Competition and camaraderie starts here at The Country Club of Winter Haven and it’s been this way since 1923. Throughout the year, the Club hosts a variety of golf events and tournaments for Members and their Guests. Compete in the Club Championship, enjoy the Member-Guest with friends, or play in the weekly Men’s Golf Association.
TENNIS
Tennis is spoken here. We’re so keen on tennis that the courts are bustling even in the 90-degree heat. Whether you are picking up a tennis racquet for the first time or working out with a ball machine, the Tennis Center at The Country Club of Winter Haven is the place to be. All of our eight courts, six Har-Tru and two hard courts, are lighted and ready for play seven days a week. After your game, jump in the showers to cool off, relax in the lounge or enjoy a cold drink on the deck of the patio.

Because tennis is our passion, The Country Club of Winter Haven has a full program of tennis clinics and private lessons where you can expect to get great exercise in a fast moving but friendly environment. There are numerous opportunities for competitive play for all ages. DINING
Dining at your private Club is an experience like no other—with a choice of settings, great friends surrounding you, and a courteous, attentive wait staff. At The Country Club of Winter Haven, with its friendly casual setting, is a good choice for a light meal or a place to enjoy a cold beverage while you tally up the day’s scores. Sit outdoors if you like, on the covered porch overlooking the first tee, and choose from the light lunch menu. There’s nothing quite like coming to the Clubhouse and seeing people you know—your golf buddies, your tennis pals, the new friends you’ve met through our different groups or parties. Often, you’ll see familiar faces at the Club during lunch, dinner, or a Sunday brunch.

SEASONAL GOLF MEMBERSHIP Available 12 months consecutively; Use of golf, tennis, dining, and fitness facilities; Advanced tee times; Reciprocal playing privileges; Guest privileges (a guest may play up to 4 times per season); Full use of golf practice facility; Food and beverage minimum $100/monthly equivalent; Must prove ownership of 2nd home outside state of Florida; Membership is upgradeable and recallable; Existing members, or those who have been a member within the previous 12 months may not downgrade to this category.
