The Highland Chamber of Commerce is once again seeking contestants for our Holiday Lights Competition. Something new for 2018 is that this year’s competition will include ALL of zip code 62249.

The 12 Days of Christmas Raffle kicked off November 1st.  We have been collecting prizes from businesses and have had many donations promised.  There is still an opportunity for you to make a donation and receive exposure during this holiday season.  
If you wish to donate to our raffle, you can either drop it off at our office(1216 Main St.) or call(618-654-3721) to have us pick it up.

Twilight Holiday Home Tour 2018


 


You're Invited...


Holiday Home Tour Featuring Local Representative's Homestead

The Meier homestead will be on the Okawville Christmas Tour this year. Also, the homes of Julie Heberer, Bill & Ellen Krohne, and Dan & Katie Kramper will be open for touring. St. Barbara's Catholic Church be on the tour and there will be handmade quilts on display. I hope you will mark your calendars to head to Okawville on Saturday Dec 1 from 12-5 or Sunday Dec. 2 from 12-4.  Tickets are $10.00 will be sold at the hospitality space at the Okawville Community Building in the same room where the craft tables are.  Also, at the Community Building you will be able to view the Festival of Trees.  The theme for the trees is Celebrating 200 years of Illinois.  Call 618-243-5694 for more information.


HSHS Southern Illinois Hospitals to Host

Giving Tree Breakfast Events

 

(BREESE, GREENVILLE, HIGHLAND, IL) – HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Breese, HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville and HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Highland are each hosting a Giving Tree Breakfast.


The events will feature a free breakfast buffet open to colleagues and community members. At each event, there will be a Giving Tree full of tags with items needed to fill local food pantries for the holidays. Participation in the Giving Tree is optional and not required to enjoy breakfast.   more details
