The annual Street Art Festival and Vendor Fair & Makers Market will be held on Saturday, September 21st (with September 22nd as a rain date). The streets of downtown Highland will once again become a temporary art gallery as artists transform the pavement into colorful works of art.  We invite you to express your support of the arts and our community by being a part of this unique experience!

The Street Art Festival is the perfect way to showcase a business or organization.  When you sponsor the Street Art Festival you help the Chamber provide quality events in Highland that everyone can enjoy!  Please call the Chamber for more information - 618-654-3721.

***We are looking for SWAG for our artist gift bags.  If your business has a clever advertising item to add to our bag, or would be interested in donating water bottles or a small snack, our artists would greatly appreciate it.  We would need 40 of whatever you are donating to be delivered to the Chamber office by Monday, September 16, 2019.  Good times to deliver are during the morning between 9 - noon.  Please call if you will be coming outside of that time, 654-3721.  Thanks!

HACSM

Thank You to Anonymous Donor

Dear Chamber Members,

Highland Area Christian Service Ministry would like to thank the anonymous donor who paid our 2019-2020 dues.  If you could convey our appreciation, we would be grateful.  As members of the Highland community, we appreciate the visibility the Chamber affords us.  Additionally, the information you provide makes our work easier.  As our clients deal with unemployment, health concerns, and family crises, we know the Highland community "has our back."

Summer is winding down, but the staff at HACSM is not on vacation!  Our Food Pantry is the center of our organization, but we offer many other services, as well.  Our Case Managers maintain a busy schedule enrolling clients in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), establishing medical accounts, and insuring that utility costs are covered for the summer months.  Our volunteers, too, have been preparing for the upcoming school year, readying and distributing backpacks loaded with grade-appropriate school supplies for Pre-K - 12.

Again, we appreciate your support.  Your donation allows us to continue our mission of providing encouragement and assistance to those in need.

Sincerely,
Diane L. Williams, Executive Director
