HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital Highland

Media Statement

Due to concerns about the coronavirus, influenza and other illnesses, HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Highland has regretfully decided to postpone the health fair scheduled for April 15 at Highland Hope United Methodist Church.

This decision is being made in the best interest for the health and wellbeing of our community.

At this time, St. Joseph’s Highland has not had any confirmed cases of COVID-19, but we are taking the necessary precautions based on recommendations by public health officials to prevent the spread of any contagious diseases.

We are exploring options to reschedule the health fair for a later date.

Have You Ever Explored Art Journaling?

More and more it seems that people are talking about writing in their journals.  The more I hear about journals, the more confused I get on where and how to start mine.  In an article on the ARTPlace, the author asks an important question.  "What if You Don't Want to Write?  Does that sound like you?  So now they have a journal where you draw in it.  So my next thought is great, but I stink at drawing as well.  That's the best part about this journal...it's yours and only yours!  You draw for yourself, and it is exactly what it is supposed to be.

In the article Do You Know What Art Journal Benefits are? Is this type of thing for you? You might just find the perfect type of journal for you.  If taking the time to read isn't your thing, or you just want to put what you know into practice you will want to visit Highland Arts & Crafts.  They are offering a class in Art Journaling.  More Information can be found here.
