Pulse Personal Training Weekly Health Tip

Pulse Personal Training is excited to partner with the Chamber to bring you tips for healthy living every week!  Today’s tip is to How To Set Goals!

It’s hard to believe the first half of the year is over! If your New Year’s resolution or goals have already lost steam all is not lost, here are some tips for goal setting:
1. Pick goals that are sustainable for a long term change, if something is temporary it will be harder to maintain.
2. If weight loss is a goal, focus on small daily habits like sleep, water, nutrition and movement to move you towards lasting change.
3. Think about what you can add to your life with your goal, not what you want to take away or restrict.
4. What purpose does it serve, make sure you know why you chose a certain goal.

Goal setting is not just for January 1, these tips can be used any day of year!

Heartland Community Chorus Pops Concert

Heartland Community Chorus Pops Concert is here!
The 2021 Pops concert is now on youtube for you to view! “This 25-minute
offering is the fourth virtual program we have produced during COVID,” says director
Luanne Murphy, “and it’s the most fun one to watch!” The chorus has made these
programs free for anyone to see, because the community has been so supportive
during the pandemic. “We have received many donations during our virtual season, and
that tells us that our patrons want us to continue, and get back to in-person concerts
when we can. Our Season 9, starting this fall, will be in-person, both rehearsals and
concerts. We can’t wait!”
In the meantime, though, please enjoy “Pandemic Pops” on youtube, you will hear
favorites from past Pops concerts, such as “Route 66”, “I’ll Be Seeing You”, and “What
the World Needs Now.”Just head to This Link or go to

Leaps of Love Night at the Races

A message from Heart and Soul Yoga

Hello!  July and August will be here before we know it!  With that, there are a couple changes and enhancements to accessing your yoga practice.

In the following video I explain how to BOOK your classes using your Momoyoga account.  If you don't have an account set up yet, please use the link below to register.
The video also explains two new features (monthly unlimited video access and a new 10-class pass).  In addition, the video explains a few pricing changes, specifically the upcharge for continuing with Zoom classes.  I am VERY happy to continue using Zoom for those that wish to continue taking classes at home, but I need to pass along the expense of this feature.
