If you would like your company's open positions listed on the Chamber website, you can do so by entering them from your member home page. 

1) Sign in with the log in and password you set up when you joined the Chamber or when we transitioned to the new website. 
2) Click on Resources  

3)  Choose Submit Job Board  - enter your job information

When you complete your entry, it will be pending until approved by the Admin(Hillarie).  These are checked weekly for approval.

Help the Chamber of Commerce fill the Event Calendar on our website.  It's easy to do and helps get the word out about what you have going on at your business, club or group!  Highland has so many exciting things going on and adding your event helps spread the word!
To enter your event:
Go to highlandillinois.com, then click the Calendars and Events page and look for the submit your event button below the calendar.  Once it is entered, it is sent to me for approval, I approve it and it is entered to the events page.  Photos/flyers can also be uploaded.  Let me know if you have any questions.

As the holiday season approaches, we have confirmed Santa Claus will be returning to his “home away from home” on the City Square to visit with the children of Highland & surrounding areas. We are writing to invite you to participate as a sponsor to help ensure Santa’s arrival to the Square. Santa will be available for visits starting on November 26^th through December 23^rd: Monday-Friday 6-8pm, Saturday 10am-12pm & 1-4pm, Sundays 1-4pm. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your business during the holiday season. A $250 donation will provide sponsors with:
 
-A custom yard sign which will be displayed for a week at Santa’s home.
-Acknowledgement during the Annual Lighting Ceremony on the Square (11/26)

Don Niebruegge, Employment Security Specialist with the Illinois Department of Security offers employer outreach planning, delivery and follow-up for seminars that place an emphasis on education for available employment services offered by IDES.  Hiring Events are being organized and employers are welcome to attend.  Click HERE for more information on their services.    

 

 

Our big announcement is that we have quadrupled our listening area by acquiring four stations (2 AM, 2 FM) and 3 translators in Casey, Illinois and Terre Haute, Indiana. These stations formerly carried Moody Radio, but have been off the air for some time. We'll be bringing them back online with Moody Radio programming in the next few weeks. If you're driving along I-70, our family of stations will be able to be heard from about half an hour east of St Louis to about half an hour west of Indianapolis. We would appreciate your prayers and your financial support as we take this step of faith in order to reach people in east central Illinois and west central Indiana.

HSHS Illinois Offers ACA Enrollment Help by Phone or Website
 
SPRINGFIELD – Certified application counselors at HSHS Illinois hospitals will be available by phone to help individuals and families sign up for health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act. Individuals and families that enroll by December 15, 2021, get coverage that starts January 1, 2022. Coverage will begin February 1, 2022, for those who enroll from December 15, 2021, through January 15, 2022.
