HIGHLAND CELEBRATES SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY 11/27 EVENTS!

Why Shopping Small can make a BIG Impact!
The following are highlights found in an article published by Fundera in 2021.
* $68 for every $100 stays in the community when spent at a local business. When spending the same at a non-local business like a national chain, only $43 stays in your community.
* Over 9.3 billion would be directly returned to our economy if every US family spent just $10 a month at a local business
* Businesses with fewer than 500 employees account for 99.7% of ALL US employers. More interesting facts on Shopping Small can be found HERE.

Breaking News from WJLY

Our big announcement is that we have quadrupled our listening area by acquiring four stations (2 AM, 2 FM) and 3 translators in Casey, Illinois and Terre Haute, Indiana. These stations formerly carried Moody Radio, but have been off the air for some time. We'll be bringing them back online with Moody Radio programming in the next few weeks. If you're driving along I-70, our family of stations will be able to be heard from about half an hour east of St Louis to about half an hour west of Indianapolis. We would appreciate your prayers and your financial support as we take this step of faith in order to reach people in east central Illinois and west central Indiana.
