Small Business Saturday Cookie Crumb Trail 2022

Small Business Saturday Cookie Crumb Trail was a HUGE success!
Shoppers lined up early at Kloss to get their map and tote bag!  Many participants shopped at the local businesses and were excited to see so much available in Highland.  Thanks to our Cookie and Event Sponsors for helping to make Cookie Crumb Trail a success!

Christmas Parade 2022 is in the BOOKS!

Our 2022 Chamber of Commerce Lighted Christmas Parade was VERY well attended!  We had some AMAZING floats this year and of course the HHS Band, St.Paul Band and Madrigal Singers were in attendance also! Even though there were many deserving floats, the judges were able to choose their top 3:

The holidays are quickly approaching and the Highland Chamber of Commerce office is gearing up for another successful retail season with our Gift Certificate Program.  For an annual fee of $40, your company can participate as a place for the certificates to be redeemed.  There are currently over 60 participating businesses at this time, with a very diverse list of categories!  From Accounting  (Scheffel Boyle) to Travel Agencies (Travel One), there is something for everyone on the list!  For a full list of participating businesses, click HERE!  Many of our businesses, schools, organizations, city offices etc., use the Gift Certificates for awards, prizes, gifts etc., keeping the money local and boosting the Highland economy!  For more information on the program, see our website or click the image below!

Heartland Community Chorus to Celebrate Christmas Joy

 Heartland Community Chorus invites Highland Area residents to Celebrate Christmas Joy! with us at our annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 10th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 11th at 3:00 pm.  Both concerts will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL.  Ticket prices are $15 and may be purchased at FCB Banks, Highland, from a Chorus member, or online at www.heartlandcommunitychorus.org.  Children 16 and under are free.   
          The concert will feature new and old Christmas music with a brass ensemble, percussion, and woodwinds.  It’s a perfect way to start your Christmas festivities.

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Lou Fusz Ford of Highland will be collecting money and/or nonperishable food item donations for our local Highland Food Pantry, HACSM to help those less fortunate. Donations may be dropped off during business hours at Lou Fusz Ford of Highland between Nov 24th - Dec 16th and a
truck will be on hand to store donations.

St. Paul Catholic School is currently seeking businesses interested in sponsoring live auction items at Viking Night.  This fundraiser at the KC Hall in Highland typically brings in about 400 people, and sponsors receive advertising in school and church publications, reaching over 1,000 homes.  Viking Night is St. Paul School’s largest fundraiser, providing much needed equipment and updated curriculum.
