The holidays are quickly approaching and the Highland Chamber of Commerce office is gearing up for another successful retail season with our Gift Certificate Program. For an annual fee of $40, your company can participate as a place for the certificates to be redeemed. There are currently over 60 participating businesses at this time, with a very diverse list of categories! From Accounting (Scheffel Boyle) to Travel Agencies (Travel One), there is something for everyone on the list! For a full list of participating businesses, click HERE! Whoooo is ready to meet The Owl Guy, Mark Glenshaw? Mark will be presenting "Forest Park Owls: Hiding In Plain Sight" on Wednesday, December 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the Latzer Library Auditorium. This program covers how Mark found these owls, basic facts about the species, and many photos and videos shot by Mark will be shared to illustrate the amazing behaviors of these beautiful owls. This program is designed for people of all ages.

Heartland Community Chorus to Celebrate Christmas Joy
Heartland Community Chorus invites Highland Area residents to Celebrate Christmas Joy! with us at our annual Christmas concert on Saturday, December 10th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 11th at 3:00 pm. Both concerts will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL. Ticket prices are $15 and may be purchased at FCB Banks, Highland, from a Chorus member, or online at www.heartlandcommunitychorus.org. Children 16 and under are free.
The concert will feature new and old Christmas music with a brass ensemble, percussion, and woodwinds. It’s a perfect way to start your Christmas festivities.
