Monday and Tuesday, June 19-20:  Preschool Storytime at 10 a.m. with Miss Josie
(The Monday and Tuesday Storytime are the same stories and activity.for both days.)  Miss Josie has a cool craft just right for preschoolers and absolutely the best stories to go with the activity!
  
Thursday, June 22 at 6 p.m. NEW NEW NEW!  This Summer Drum Circle with Jan Cryder Newman will provide an opportunity for you to find your inner voice.  We will be using our new drums in this unique experience.  This program is designed for ages 10-adult.  
 
Friday, June 23 at 10 a.m.  Fitness Friday with Mr. Warnecke and the Battling Bulldogs Highland Football team.  Meet inside Latzer Library.  If you want to learn about football and learn some pointers to play this fabulous game, this is perfect for you!  Designed for kids of all ages.

If you are not familiar, the Highland Parks and Recreation Department brought back the Highland Farmers’ Market this year. After hearing requests from our community for the past several years we had an opportunity to bring it back this year. We started the market on May 16^th, and will continue to have the market each Tuesday from 4-8pm through the end of September. So far we have continued to grow each week. With word still continuing to spread we think the Highland Farmers’ Market will continue to grow each week, and hope to make this event a staple in our community for years to come.
 
In an effort to entertain those who are coming to the market, as well as draw more people to the market we are working to schedule some musical entertainment at some of our remaining market dates. We are currently looking for local businesses to sponsor our musicians each week. With this, business would have their businesses logo shared on our social media posts, and have the option of setting up a booth to promote your business at that days market. The cost for this would be $250 per day, which goes solely towards covering the cost of musicians. We understand this is a big ask, but are happy to work with our local businesses however we can.

Attached are the schedules for April.  All classes will be 7-week series and each series is $48.  Note that when you sign up for the series, that means you attend that same class every week.
If you would like some flexibility in when you attend classes, you should choose  the 8-class or 10-class passes.  These are 2-month class passes and you pick and choose which classes you attend during that 2-month time period....or until you use all the credits.
