If you are not familiar, the Highland Parks and Recreation Department brought back the Highland Farmers’ Market this year. After hearing requests from our community for the past several years we had an opportunity to bring it back this year. We started the market on May 16
th, and will continue to have the market each Tuesday from 4-8pm through the end of September. So far we have continued to grow each week. With word still continuing to spread we think the Highland Farmers’ Market will continue to grow each week, and hope to make this event a staple in our community for years to come.
In an effort to entertain those who are coming to the market, as well as draw more people to the market we are working to schedule some musical entertainment at some of our remaining market dates. We are currently looking for local businesses to sponsor our musicians each week. With this, business would have their businesses logo shared on our social media posts, and have the option of setting up a booth to promote your business at that days market. The cost for this would be $250 per day, which goes solely towards covering the cost of musicians. We understand this is a big ask, but are happy to work with our local businesses however we can.
