                The Highland Business Women’s club is seeking volunteers for the Kid’s Art Zone at the Street Art Fest Saturday Sept. 16^th.  Volunteers assist kids with crafts, checking out sidewalk chalk and supervising the bounce house.  The Art Zone is a great way to network in the community while having fun with the kids.  Shifts are flexible if you need to leave early or can show up late.   Feel free to forward the information to anyone you think might be interested, we welcome volunteers of all ages!  Thank you in advance for your help in making this unique event one of the best in Highland!

We are excited welcome Patrick Garvey, CPA, as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Anderson Healthcare System. With an impressive background in finance, Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare management, including 10 years as a CFO in various health systems. He most recently served as CFO at Tennova Healthcare in Cleveland, Tennessee.
As our new CFO, Patrick will play a pivotal role in guiding our financial strategies, ensuring the long-term sustainability and growth of our healthcare system. He will manage the fiscal operations for all System entities, including Anderson Hospital and Community Hospital of Staunton. He will also have responsibility for the departments of Finance, Materials Management, Revenue Cycle and Managed Care contracting.

Heartland Community Chorus To Hold Auditions

 Heartland Community Chorus will hold auditions for the 2023-2024 season, and YOU are invited!  HCC is a chorus of about forty singers, men and women, age sixteen and older.  Auditions will be on Friday, September 1, from 6-8pm, and on Saturday, September 2, from 10am-noon (come during either of those times). Auditions will be held on the second floor of St. Paul Parish building, 1411 Main Street, Highland, IL.  Please park on LEMON Street and enter the Lemon Street door (east side of the complex).  Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor.  If you can't make either of these times, please contact the director.
