ONE on WON Program Announced!

ONE on WON
We are excited to kick off our ONE on WON program! This program was created to culminate relationships with other like-minded businesspeople or members from groups or organizations that may find it difficult or intimidating in a group setting. Jeff Weinacht from Pulse Personal Training will be collecting a list of business professionals who are interested in getting together one on one to meet and get to know each other on a personal and professional level. The idea behind the meetings is not to “sell” each other’s products or services, but simply to network in an atmosphere that allows for conversations with minimal distractions, as well as an opportunity to get to know one another.  The Highland Community is growing quickly and has a wide range of new businesses that have opened in the last year. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with people who can share experiences and work together as opportunities arise!  While the Highland Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours is our greatest opportunity to network on a regular basis, ONE on WON is a way for individuals to network in a more intimate setting and build meaningful, professional relationships!
We will have a sign up sheet at our Business After Hours or
you can contact Jeff anytime at 618-792-8250

EXTRAORDINARY NURSE RECOGNIZED AT ANDERSON HOSPITAL

October 25, 2023 (Maryville, IL) – Intensive Care Unit Nurse, Adam Quitmeyer, RN,  of Anderson Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit was recently honored with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.
                     The nomination submitted read:
“I was in the hospital following an ER visit and emergency Pace Maker implanted. Adam was the Nurse on the ICU level at night during my stay. He was just exceptionally kind, constantly checked on me, answered tons of questions, and continuously went above and beyond. I was quite scared considering my heart had such a large issue, but Adam kept checking on me, letting me know he would return, offered his assistance with every little thing to include making sure I was hydrating, checking my hydration levels, getting me food, and preparing me for all of my tests.
