Donate Necessity Items to Highland Health Care Center

Cutline: HSHS St. Joseph’s Hospital Highland colleagues recently joined the hospital’s Mission Team in collecting necessity items for the Highland Health Care Center. Shown with the donated items collected are (left to right): Trisha Ernst, manager of environmental services; Sheri Ernst, executive assistant; Cassie Lange, central services technician; Carol Lowery, RN and emergency department team lead; Teresa Cornelius, chief operations officer and chief nursing officer; Rebecca Niemerg, mission integration supervisor; Joel Tucker, director of pharmacy; Michelle Herzberg, director of nursing; and Niki Tebbe, informaticist.

PRESCHOOL STORYTIME WITH MISS JOSIE is so much fun for kids, ages 1-5!  Miss Josie reads stories and does a cool craft each Monday and Tuesday at 10 a.m.!!!! (The Monday and Tuesday Story Time are alike each week to help meet the needs of parents and their different schedules.)  Please join us at Latzer Library for this event.
 
LEGO CLUB.....Come build with us!  All ages welcome. Imagine great creations and build for as long or as little of a time as you desire.  We start at 6 p.m. every Tuesday.

ONE on WON
We are excited to kick off our ONE on WON program! This program was created to culminate relationships with other like-minded businesspeople or members from groups or organizations that may find it difficult or intimidating in a group setting. Jeff Weinacht from Pulse Personal Training will be collecting a list of business professionals who are interested in getting together one on one to meet and get to know each other on a personal and professional level. The idea behind the meetings is not to “sell” each other’s products or services, but simply to network in an atmosphere that allows for conversations with minimal distractions, as well as an opportunity to get to know one another.  The Highland Community is growing quickly and has a wide range of new businesses that have opened in the last year. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with people who can share experiences and work together as opportunities arise!  While the Highland Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours is our greatest opportunity to network on a regular basis, ONE on WON is a way for individuals to network in a more intimate setting and build meaningful, professional relationships!
