Bring the gals out for a day of fun, fitness, and self-defense!
This event is free to the public, however we are requesting donations to benefit women's crisis interventions.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a particularly powerful form of self-defense for women, as it turns vulnerable positions into places of strength and counter-attack. This seminar is a great way to build confidence and boost your personal safety while
having fun with friends!
During this seminar, you will learn how to:
- Identify and mitigate risk of assault
- Defend against strikes and grabs
- Escape from being pinned on the ground
Ladies ages 13+ are welcome.
Any girls under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Please wear comfortable workout attire.

ONE on WON Program Announced!

ONE on WON
We are excited to kick off our ONE on WON program! This program was created to culminate relationships with other like-minded businesspeople or members from groups or organizations that may find it difficult or intimidating in a group setting. Jeff Weinacht from Pulse Personal Training will be collecting a list of business professionals who are interested in getting together one on one to meet and get to know each other on a personal and professional level. The idea behind the meetings is not to “sell” each other’s products or services, but simply to network in an atmosphere that allows for conversations with minimal distractions, as well as an opportunity to get to know one another.  The Highland Community is growing quickly and has a wide range of new businesses that have opened in the last year. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with people who can share experiences and work together as opportunities arise!  While the Highland Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours is our greatest opportunity to network on a regular basis, ONE on WON is a way for individuals to network in a more intimate setting and build meaningful, professional relationships!
We will have a sign up sheet at our Business After Hours or
you can contact Jeff anytime at 618-792-8250
