About Silver Bee Community Garden
Our Vision: Our group is committed to building a strong coalition of supporters for our garden. Our vision is twofold; to provide plots that will grow healthy produce for our local food bank, senior meals program, and other Shoshone County programs that utilize fresh produce and to provide for individuals that wish to grow a garden but lack the space and/or knowledge.
To provide a beautiful space for our community to gather and grow by making dedicated plots, healthy soil, seeds, water, tools, and the support of seasoned gardeners available at a nominal cost. Our primary focus is to encourage the cultivation and consumption of healthy produce for individuals who wish to grow a garden, but lack the requisite space or knowledge. Our secondary focus is to make excess, locally grown, organic produce available to others in our community by contributing to our local food bank, senior meals program, and farmers' market when possible.
We are recognized as a 501c3.
